Copyright and DMCA Policy

1. Reporting infringement

We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content stored or shown through Thora infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent that includes:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • The copyrighted work you believe is infringed.
  • The material you want removed and where it is (a link or enough detail to find it).
  • Your name, address, phone and email.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

2. Designated agent

Copyright Agent, Thora Cloud LLC, [TBD: mailing address for legal notices]. Email: hello@thora.cloud with "DMCA" in the subject. U.S. Copyright Office registration: [TBD: DMCA designated agent registration number].

3. Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your name, address and phone with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or Franklin County, Ohio if outside the United States). We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days later unless the original sender tells us they have filed a lawsuit.

4. Repeat infringers

We end accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
